Monument / Tri-Lakes
The town of Monument (also known as the Tri-Lakes area) is located about 15 minutes north of Colorado Springs and in close proximity to Pike National Forest and the Air Force Academy. There are three lakes in the area to enjoy a variety of activities like fishing and paddle boarding. Located with easy access to I-25, Monument is a great location for people that want to live in a small town setting and still have easy commutes to Colorado Springs and Denver. The area schools are part of Lewis Palmer School District 38, an award winning school district in Colorado. The charming downtown district of Monument has a large variety of galleries, shops and restaurants. The area also provides a great Colorado lifestyle with seemingly endless trails for nearby hiking and biking and is located on New Santa Fe Regional Trail, a 16 mile trail that extends from Palmer Lake through the Air Force Academy.
